Brian Greer, M.D. is a Board - certified adult, adolescent and child psychiatrist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has practiced adult and child psychiatry for eighteen years.

He attended the University of Miami - School of Medicine and trained under the nationally recognized John Shaw, M.D., Chairman of the Department of Child Psychiatry. 

Dr. Greer was Chief Fellow of Child Psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hopsital and won the Clinical Scholar Award for his research on traumatized children. 

Dr. Greer served as Medical Director of the  renowned Renfrew Center—where he worked extensively with patients with eating disorders and created a recovery program for patients with both eating disorders and substance abuses—and currently is medical director of both The Center for Family Development and JAFCO (Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options).

Dr. Greer has appeared as a medical expert on the Oprah Show and on Eye to Eye with Connie Chung.

In 2004 Dr. Greer was included in the publication The Best Doctors in America. He is the author of Why Women Get the Blues, and has lectured extensively to physicians, psychologists, and schools.
